Regional Champs!!

Colorado Mamabird repeat as South Central Regional champions! After beating Kansas 12-7 in the semifinals Bird capped off the weekend with a 15-11 finals win over Texas to qualify for Nationals. Dating back to 1998 Mamabird has made nationals every single year (the longest streak in the country) and we’ve won our region every year since 2005 (also the longest streak in the country). Mamabird would like to thank everyone that came down to Austin and supported us this weekend and can’t wait to see everyone in Boulder for Nationals!!!

Sectionals 2012

Colorado A & B will be traveling to Greeley this weekend to play sectionals at the University of Northern Colorado for a chance to earn bids to South Central regionals. We will be tweeting all weekend (@CUMamabird) and results can be found on score reporter.

The First Annual Andrew “Stitches” Gelston Graham Charitable Foundation(AGGCF) Hat Tournament has been announced! It will be on Saturday June, 11th 2011 from 9am to 4pm. Mark your calenders! It will be held at Willow Creek Park in Englewood, Colorado. Players from Mamabird and Kail are attending so this will be one competitive hat tournament, however players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. You can register early and reserve your spot and save $7 from tournament day registration. Water, bananas, and other energy snacks will be provided along with some other choice CU schwag.

All proceeds will go to the AGGCF which educates and supports families affected by youth violence.
